I am so picky about engagement rings. Luckily, Liz knows everything I love and want. We actually will play a game where I send her pictures of rings and she tells me what I like and dislike about it. She’s always right too. I love this one. I’m big on round diamonds, and I’ve recently learned to love diamond bands. I’m also big into the setting of the ring (how it looks from the side). The more unique ones really catch my eye. All in all, I love this ring set. :)

Now that we’re actually getting closer to this (and by closer I mean in it being a reality, not in length of time, since it’s still probably a year or two away), I told her I wouldn’t talk about anything engagement related, since she wants it to be a complete surprise, but this will not stop me from sending her texts of this nature and posting on my Tumblr about rings, weddings, and my excitement.
I can’t wait to get engaged! And I don’t mean in general, I mean to you. I’m so lucky to have found the person I want to spend the rest of life my with. With you, I just know it’s right. I want to wake up next to you every morning for the rest of my life and grow old with you. We’ve been through so much so far, and we have so much more to face together. My life has so much more meaning because I have you to share it with. You are my best friend and the love of my life. I am so lucky! <3
